Security As a boardroom issue, security needs permeate all aspects of the organization, including the end-user computing environment. Whatever is deployed must be safe and secure and not increase the organization's exposure to data theft or leakage. Scalability No one wants to buy something they can't grow into. This holds true for the end-user computing environment. As new employ- ees are brought on board, the environment must be able to grow as the organization grows. Scalability should be inherent in the solution, and such scalability should be a core feature that is han- dled simply and elegantly.
