For those in which it isn't, it should be. Every company's risk management strategy has to include information security as a key component. The unfortunate reality is that every organization has some level of risk when it comes to enterprise security. Cybercriminals and other malicious actors breach organizations for financial gain, to steal information, or to damage or destroy information, infra- structure, and networks. Your employees can also create risks in your environment. Insider threats include malicious acts, hon- est errors and mistakes, and a general lack of security awareness (such as good security practices to avoid ransomware and phish- ing attacks).
