Update Procedure
The DRP should be a living document, regularly reviewed and
updated to reflect organizational and technological changes:
Review Schedule:
• Set a schedule for regular reviews of the DRP, such as quarterly or
bi-annually.
• Reviews should coincide with significant organizational structure
changes, technology stack, or business operations.
Incorporating Technological Advancements:
• Stay updated with the latest developments in Azure services and
DR technologies.
• Incorporate new tools, features, or best practices as appropriate.
Addressing Emerging Threats:
• Assess the threat landscape and update the DRP to address new
risks and vulnerabilities.
Documenting Updates:
• Maintain a changelog within the DRP to track updates and
revisions.
• Ensure all stakeholders know the changes and their implications
for disaster recovery operations.
