The Power Pages portal provides enhanced visibility into request status through dashboard views, allowing both TDS Telecom associates and contractors to track the progress of each request efficiently. Automate Processes with Microsoft Power Platform In the TDS Telecom use case, the following low-code tools from the Microsoft Power Platform were used to automate various aspects of the communication and request management process: • Microsoft Power Pages– Used to create a custom portal tailored to TDS Telecom's specific needs. The portal served as a centralized platform for contractors to submit requests and replaced the previous email-based system. • Power Automate– Workflows routed requests submitted through the Power Pages portal to relevant TDS associates based on the market and request type, reducing the email load for associates and improving communication efficiency. • Microsoft Dynamics– Utilized to manage requests and communications with contractors, leveraging model-driven Power Apps customized for the project. Emily Pommerening summed up the project, "The solution swap has been uneventful. Exactly how we wanted it! With purposeful, minimal oversight on Day 1, issues were few and user acceptance was high. We were worried that folks would continue utilizing the old methods for hand offs, but that has not been the case. If anything, we are uncovering more opportunities and users to put into the system!
